Our Children are the future of our great American nation. We are "One Nation under God."

I love my kids and want the best for them in everything.  I worry about the future.  And the direction our country is going.  You probably do too.

so I ask myself, what can I do?  How can I make the world a better place for them?  How can God use me to bless others and do his will in my neighborhood, community and nationwide?

I don't have all the answers, but through God's help I'm going to try.  I need to teach my precious kids about the past; showing them how our founding father's trusted God and put him first through prayer and obeying His holy word in the Bible.

Up until now I've been lazy, trusting in teachers and  Sunday school teachers to educate them.

God gave me the answer  in Deuteronomy 11: 18-20, where he says, "Therefore shall ye lay up these my words in your heart and in your soul, and bind them for a sign upon your hand, that they may be as frontlets between your eyes. 19And ye (THAT MEANS ME, not some teacher) shall teach them your children, speaking of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, when thou liest down, and when thou risest up. 20And thou shalt write them upon the door posts of thine house, and upon thy gates: 21That your days may be multiplied, and the days of your children, in the land which the LORD sware unto your fathers to give them, as the days of heaven upon the earth."

Wow, this is a huge request.  But, I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me, right?  Yes, that's right.  God will lead me and guide me.  All have to do is ask him.  And I will.

This is my story.  I'll keep you posted on how things go.
